The speaker is incredibly small, standing only 7 inches tall and weighing only 1.2 pounds. It has a good battery life of 10-15 hours, depending on how frequently you use it.
Another significant advantage of the Ultimate Ears BOOM 2 is its secure Bluetooth and extended range. This speaker has a wireless range of approximately 80-100 feet. For its small size, the sound quality is surprisingly loud. The mids and highs are both very distinct and well balanced. However, I noticed a couple of drawbacks. For one thing, when the volume is turned all the way up, the audio becomes slightly distorted. I discovered the sweet spot to be around 90%.
