The festival closes at 1am each night!
All tickets will be posted out from the start of July right up until one week before the festival.
The Box Office closes at 9pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, you must have collected your wristband before then to gain entry to the arena.
*** Under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 25 ***
Please read our Ticket terms and conditions here.
CARER & PERSONAL ASSISTANT TICKETS
We supply free tickets for those with disabilities that require a carer. To get one of these please purchase tickets as normal, and tick the check box at the end of the transaction to opt in for a carer’s ticket. One of our Access Team will then be in touch with you to supply all relevant info. The Access Campsite is situated very close to the arena, with a hard standing route most of the way to the entrance. You do not need to pre-book for access to this campsite.
We have a General Campsite, Family Campsite, Boutique Campsite, Access Campsite and Live-in-Vehicle fields. Unfortunately you cannot park your vehicle next to your tent (the car park is 5-10 minutes away), or camp with tents in the LIV field.
All weekend tickets include access to the general campsite and, where relevant, the family campsite.
Campervan and Caravan tickets must be purchased separately.
The campervan and caravan field allows for a spacious 10×10m plot within a quiet, dedicated area of the estate, close to the arena. There are limited plots and they are selling fast!
Unfortunately there are no electrical hook-ups but there are water facilities within this area.
There are no generators allowed anywhere on site, including all the campsites!
SPEAKERS AND SOUNDSYSTEMS
As we are a wee festival, and everyone likes to get some kip at night, you can only bring speakers smaller then your hand into the festival. Please do not bring anything else as they will be confiscated.
It’s no problem to stay off-site during the festival and attend each day, but please not that any wristbands that are tampered with will likely result in a refused re-entry.
We have a disabled carpark and disabled campsite. A hard standing path leads from the disabled carpark and campsite to the arena. Although the arena is mainly grass, it is mostly flat!
ATM AND CARD PAYMENTS
There are ATMs on site, we do not have card payments on the bars.
MOBILE PHONE CHARGING
There are mobile phone charging facilities on site!
Challenge 25 operates on all bars. If you have purchased an adult ticket and are fortunate enough to look under the age of the 25, you will be required to provide ID that proves your age.
IS THERE A LIMIT ON THE AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL I CAN BRING?
We allow weekend campers to bring a reasonable amount of alcohol onto the campsite (enough for one person to consume), however, no glass is allowed into the campsite or the main arena at all.
FOOD & DRINK
We have TONS of excellent food vendors on site that cater for all tastes. We also have some great bars serving up everything you could imagine. Find us a better Martini served at a festival, we dare you!
Please note you can bring your own food and drink into the campsite, but not into the arena. This is due to licensing (just like a restaurant), not making money.
Fires and BBQ’s are prohibited in the campsites. Small camping stoves are allowed.
WHATS YOUR DRUG POLICY?
The festival operates a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. The laws of the land are as relevant within the festival field as anywhere else.
IS IT SAFE FOR KIDS?
Electric Fields is a safe and family friendly festival! We have lots of things to keep kids entertained, as well as Drumlanrig Castle’s huge adventure playground which is just a short 5 minute walk away. As part of the standard ticket we have a dedicated Family Campsite. However we must remind all that kids remain the responsibility of their parents & guardians and not the festival.
DO YOU RECYCLE THE RUBBISH?
We employ litter-picking contractors who work aim to recycle as much as possible. Please help us be greener by reducing the waste you create. Think about bringing less packaging and non-essentials with you when you pack for the weekend.
CAN I BRING MY DSLR CAMERA?
You sure can, get snapping and send us any classic pics you take! If you are taking press-related photos, please contact our PR team in advance.
CAN I BRING A DOG?
Due to our licence, dogs are not allowed at the event, with the exception of Guide Dogs.
IS THERE ANY ROOM ON THE BILL LEFT FOR MUSICAL ARTISTS?
Applications to play Electric Fields open later in the year.
We receive a huge amount of applications and we truly appreciate it. We’re sorry to say we only have time to get back to those who we think will work best for the festival this year.
