GENERAL FAQ

TICKETS

All tickets will be posted out from August.

The Box Office closes at 9pm on Friday and Saturday night, you must have collected your wristband before then to gain entry to the arena.

*** Under 16s must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult over the age of 25 ***

CAMPING

All weekend tickets include access to the general campsite and, where relevant, the family campsite.

The campsites open at 9am on Friday 1st September and closes at 1pm on Sunday 3rd September.

Campervan and Caravan tickets must be purchased separately.

The campervan and caravan field allows for a spacious 10×10m plot within a quiet, dedicated area of the estate, close to the arena. There are limited plots and they are selling fast!

Unfortunately there are no electrical hook-ups but there are water facilities within this area.

FESTIVAL ACCESS

It’s no problem to stay off-site during the festival and attend each day, but please not that any wristbands that are tampered with will likely result in a refused re-entry.

The campsites open at 9am on Friday 1st September, with the arena open from 1pm and closes at 1pm on Sunday 3rd September.

DISABLED ACCESS

We have a disabled carpark and disabled campsite. A hard standing path leads from the disabled carpark and campsite to the arena. Although the arena is mainly grass, it is mostly flat!

ALCOHOL

Challenge 25 operates on all bars. If you have purchased an adult ticket and are fortunate enough to look under the age of the 25, you will be required to provide ID that proves your age.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON THE AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL I CAN BRING?

We allow weekend campers to bring a reasonable amount of alcohol onto the campsite (enough for one person to consume), however no glass is allowed in to the campsite or the main arena at all.

CAN WE TAKE ALCOHOL INTO THE ARENA?

Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the arena as we have arranged some awesome bars for you to drink from. Plus it keeps ticket prices low.

WHAT ARE THE BAR PRICES?

Bar prices haven’t been confirmed for 2017, but as always we try to keep the bar prices in line with other festivals and offer our festival-goers good value.

FIRES

Fires and BBQ’s are prohibited in the campsites.

MISCELLANEOUS

WHATS YOUR DRUG POLICY?

The festival operates a zero-tolerance policy to drugs. The laws of the land are as relevant within the festival field as anywhere else.

IS IT SAFE FOR KIDS?

Electric Fields is a safe and family friendly festival! We have lots of things to keep kids entertained, as well as Drumlanrig Castle’s huge adventure playground which is just a short 5 minute walk away. As part of the standard ticket we have a dedicated Family Campsite. However we must remind all that kids remain the responsibility of their parents & guardians and not the festival.

DO YOU RECYCLE THE RUBBISH?

We employ litter-picking contractors who work aim to recycle as much as possible. Please help us be greener by reducing the waste you create. Think about bringing less packaging and non-essentials with you when you pack for the weekend.

CAN I BRING MY DSLR CAMERA?

You sure can, get snapping and send us any classic pics you take! If you are taking press-related photos, please contact our PR team in advance.

CAN I BRING A DOG?

Due to our licence, dogs are not allowed at the event, with the exception of Guide Dogs.

IS THERE ANY ROOM ON THE BILL LEFT FOR MUSICAL ARTISTS?

Applications to play Electric Fields close at the end of February.

We receive a huge amount of applications and we truly appreciate it. We’re sorry to say we only have time to get back to those who we think will work best for the festival this year.
