Amongst the festival, a strange moving sculpture will emerge, walking toward you, surrounding you, dancing with you…
‘People Pavilion’ mixes the organic (cellular circles, light and see-through, coming together as a single organism) with the urban (an architecture, a pavilion, a space to inhabit within the festival landscape).
This breathing and moving human space will invite you to enter for an intimate and unusual encounter.
People Pavilion is a participatory project and ever-changing sculpture by artists Ailie Rutherford and Laurence Payot; a mobile, wearable architecture, with multiple functions and configurations. People Pavilion has toured in arts festivals around the UK, including Lancaster Light Up, Warrington Arts Festival, Festival 2014.
